Remembering what was worth keeping
Most people have never tasted mead. For thousands of years, people fermented honey into wine that traveled alongside civilizations, traditions and celebrations. In Ethiopia, honey wine, called tej, is still poured at celebrations today. Somewhere along the way, most of the world forgot it.
Beetopia began with a passion for honey and fermentation. Today it's a licensed, FDA-registered meadery in Cherry Hill, working with local apiaries and farms. Every batch reflects the season, the blossoms, the bees and the hands that shaped it.
We make mead to be shared: a first date, a wedding toast, a family reunion. Something discovered today, cherished tomorrow and passed down.
I want to reach for the stars beyond this world without forgetting the flowers in this world.
